About the role
This role is responsible for managing installed base performance as well as installations, maintenance, modifications, contracts, and billable services for key customer sites. Operations are tactical in nature with 70% or more of time invested in day-to-day operations and 30% dedicated to strategic issues, planning, and year-over-year services revenue growth.
What you'll do
- Direct and oversee field service activities, safety, and quality installed base performance at key customer sites. - Plan and develop policies, guidelines, and procedures for on-site installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting to facilitate efficient service delivery. - Supervise, schedule, evaluate, mentor, and recruit Field Service Engineers and related personnel while managing manpower optimization and expense control. - Manage service contracts and direct support services to meet contractual obligations, budget limits, and customer deadlines. - Maintain direct contact with customers through regular on-site meetings to resolve issues and participate in corrective action programs. - Drive continuous profitable growth by standardizing and implementing best practices across assigned customer territories.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). - Minimum of 5 years of experience managing operational field service and/or customer relations teams in the semiconductor capital equipment industry. - Ability to travel to multiple site locations approximately 50% of the time.
