About the role
This role involves performing preventative and proactive maintenance on production equipment in wafer operations. You will interact directly with operations, process, equipment engineering, and other groups to meet department and Wolfspeed goals.
What you'll do
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on tools according to equipment specifications
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance through paper and electronic checklists
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment using operating manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform equipment checks
- Perform repeatable tasks to improve up-time or overall equipment performance
- Support the company’s 5S program for a safe, clean, and organized manufacturing area
What you'll need
- High school education or GED
- Working familiarity of electrical systems with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals
- Mechanical aptitude
Nice to have
- Wolfspeed Technician Certification Program (TCP) graduates
