About the role
This role involves driving resolution of qualification and reliability risk areas for transceiver products and Photonics ICs. It focuses on the investigation of complex materials, mechanical, thermal, electrical, and process interactions.
What you'll do
- Drive resolution of qualification and reliability risk areas for transceiver products and Photonics ICs.
- Propose and coordinate failure analysis strategies to understand failure modes and sequence of events.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) reliability qualifications and resolve customer field reliability issues.
- Lead cross-functional projects involving Reliability Engineering, Customer Quality, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Product Engineering.
- Document Lessons Learned, Root Cause, Corrective & Preventive Actions.
- Assist in implementation of quality excellence initiatives.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or Project Management.
- Minimum 5 years experience in optical transceivers, networking hardware, semiconductors, electronics manufacturing, or data center industries.
- Experience supporting R&D, quality, reliability, and operations organizations with customer focus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools like JMP.
- Familiarity with reliability qualification testing.
- Familiarity with customer quality processes.
- Familiarity with root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with CAPA systems.
- Familiarity with New Product Introduction (NPI).
