About the role
This role leads post-silicon bringup, characterization, and productization of the memory system for GPU products within the GPU Engineering Team.
What you'll do
- Manage and help lead post-silicon bringup, characterization, and productization of the memory system for GPU products.
- Develop, qualify, and work on compliance of memory system software and firmware.
- Act as the primary contact for internal and external customers and DRAM vendors for silicon issues relating to memory.
- Contribute across the GPU development cycle from concept, Plan of Record, architecture, micro-architecture, design, validation, physical design, and tape out.
- Work with pre-silicon design and verification teams to define features required for bringup and productization, and lead post-silicon execution from power-on through production.
What you'll need
- Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
- 12+ years of experience, including at least three years working with memory systems in the lab.
- Direct experience taking an SOC/GPU from concept level to production.
- Experience with DRAM and high speed DRAM interfaces such as HBM, GDDR, and LPDDR, including their timing, analog, and digital requirements.
- Proven capability to analyze large datasets to identify top issues and facilitate technical decisions.
