About the role

This role supports the System Validation team in Brno, focusing on component ordering administration for development projects and hands-on execution of selected EMC and robustness tests. You will support the development of automotive and industrial ICs by preparing test setups, executing measurements, and documenting results, with a focus on automotive-oriented EMC and robustness tests such as ESD testing, latch-up testing, and transient immunity testing.

What you'll do

  • Manage DAA administration and component ordering processes, including processing requests, tracking orders, and communicating with internal stakeholders.
  • Check component availability, identify technically suitable replacements when needed, and support project continuity.
  • Prepare EMC and robustness test setups according to internal procedures, test plans, and engineer instructions.
  • Perform selected EMC tests, including ESD gun testing, latch-up testing, and transient disturbance testing using Schaffner/Teseq-type equipment.
  • Evaluate and document test results, recording conditions, monitoring behavior, collecting evidence, and preparing clear test reports.
  • Maintain laboratory readiness by organizing equipment, accessories, fixtures, cables, ESD tools, and test areas.

What you'll need

  • Secondary technical education or bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a similar technical field.
  • Basic written and spoken English communication skills, including ability to read component datasheets, internal procedures, equipment manuals, and standard-related documentation.
  • Practical knowledge of electronic components and their main parameters, including resistors, capacitors, inductors, diodes, transistors, connectors, and protection components.
  • Basic ability to read schematic diagrams and understand simple electronic circuits.
  • Basic experience with laboratory instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, laboratory power supplies, signal generators, electronic loads, and current probes.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain test documentation using predefined templates, including test setup description, test conditions, photos, result tables, and measured data.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook, and SharePoint/Confluence-type information systems.
