About the role
As an IP Design Architect at NXP Semiconductors, you will define and develop graphics, display controller, and RISC-V IP architectures and designs.
What you'll do
- Drive graphics, display, and RISC-V IP ideas from definition through modeling and architecture to design and implementation across all development stages. - Implement and evaluate architectures using modeling to identify choke points, evaluate tradeoffs, and guide design efforts. - Align with standards bodies to support NXP's technology specifications. - Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop differentiated technologies. - Facilitate design development, performance estimation, and performance analysis through methodology and hands-on technical contributions. - Collaborate on related projects, including DSP and RISC-V CPU development or related IP.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. - 5+ years of experience in architecture, modeling, and design. - Proficiency in C, Verilog, Python (or similar), and digital design. - Working knowledge of C++, scripting, RTL, and performance evaluation. - Background in graphics and display controller concepts. - Background in RISC-V and experience with graphics, display controller, or RISC-V IP development.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
