About the role
This internship focuses on developing data structures, cloud databases, and digital workflows for AI usage in Unit Process Development at Infineon Technologies. You will work on data readiness and tooling centered around plasma etching processing data.
What you'll do
- Access and analyze existing databases, identify data gaps, and develop a cloud database for missing recipe and measurement data.
- Develop a scalable OutSystems web application to document experiments and extend existing documentation capabilities.
- Develop and test automated workflows and digital solutions within the Unit Process Development environment.
- Create and enhance internal tools and applications using C# or Python to collect, cleanse, and analyze measurement data.
- Document methods, implementations, benchmark results, and limitations, and present findings to the team.
What you'll need
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, or Artificial Intelligence.
- 2+ years of programming experience with practical knowledge of machine learning frameworks and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with software development, scripting, and database technologies.
- A strong foundation in statistics and mathematics.
- Fluent written and spoken English language skills.
Nice to have
- Experience working with data pipelines and data integration concepts.
- Practical experience in machine learning.
- German language skills.
