About the role

As a Software Engineer Intern at KLA Corporation, you will design, develop, test, and enhance software supporting semiconductor inspection systems. The role supports the LS-SWIFT division, which delivers high-throughput patterned wafer inspection systems.

What you'll do

- Design, develop, test, and enhance software using C#, C++, Java, and/or Python. - Work with the Machine Control and backend software teams to improve software capabilities for semiconductor equipment. - Develop scripts and engineering tools for automation, data analysis, visualization, and debugging. - Analyze existing software workflows to improve performance, execution time, reliability, and engineering productivity. - Work on projects involving image processing and engineering data analysis. - Participate in software design, implementation, code reviews, integration, and testing across software, hardware, sensors, and motion/control subsystems.

What you'll need

- Less than 1 year of related experience. - Experience developing or scripting in C#, C++, Java, or Python. - Familiarity with software design, debugging, testing, or code reviews.
