About the role
Support the design, integration, testing, and continuous improvement of hardware used in semiconductor equipment. You will contribute to defined engineering projects and gain exposure to complex mechanical systems including reactors, vacuum chambers, and gas delivery systems.
What you'll do
- Support engineering projects focused on the design, development, testing, and improvement of semiconductor equipment.
- Create and update 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using Creo Parametric or similar tools.
- Assist with engineering calculations and analysis, including structural, thermal, and fluid dynamics.
- Participate in prototype builds, testing, data collection, and evaluation of mechanical designs.
- Support troubleshooting and root-cause investigations for technical and mechanical challenges.
- Complete a defined internship project and present findings and recommendations at the conclusion of the internship.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
- Coursework, academic research, laboratory experience, or student projects involving mechanical design and analysis.
- Basic understanding of engineering concepts such as mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and materials.
- Experience with or exposure to 3D CAD software such as Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
