About the role
This internship focuses on experimental testing, validation, and performance reporting for laser modules and opto-electronic setups. The work supports co-packaged optics (CPO) and optical I/O chiplet hardware.
What you'll do
- Build opto-electronic test setups.
- Design design of experiments (DOEs) and perform test and validation experiments to characterize laser module performance.
- Execute debug activities to meet product requirements.
- Present experimental findings in internal meetings and report results out to executives.
What you'll need
- Active enrollment in a Ph.D. program with a major in Optics.
- Hands-on experience working in an optoelectronics lab.
- Ability to automate test setups and debug systems.
