About the role

This role provides hands-on experience supporting the design, integration, testing, and continuous improvement of electrical hardware used in semiconductor equipment. You will contribute to defined engineering projects covering power distribution, controls, sensors, interlocks, safety circuits, cable assemblies, and system-level interfaces.

What you'll do

  • Support the design, development, integration, and testing of electrical hardware for semiconductor process-module subsystems.
  • Work with schematics, cable drawings, wiring diagrams, power distribution, sensors, heaters, actuators, interlocks, and control interfaces.
  • Assist engineers with translating system and performance requirements into electrical hardware implementations.
  • Support electrical component selection and evaluation based on performance, reliability, safety, environmental, and system requirements.
  • Assist with prototype builds, system integration, design verification, hardware testing, and root-cause analysis.
  • Create and maintain engineering documentation, including schematics, bills of materials, test plans, and engineering change information.

What you'll need

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Foundational understanding of electrical engineering concepts gained through coursework, research, lab work, student projects, or previous internships.
  • Familiarity with electrical circuits, power systems, sensors, signal interfaces, or related electrical hardware concepts.
  • Experience reading or creating electrical schematics through coursework, projects, research, or technical experience.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with electrical CAD or schematic capture tools.
