About the role
This position is in the Logic Technology Development team working in one of the most advanced semiconductor process technologies. This role involves designing, executing, and analyzing experiments to develop the process of the next technologies.
What you'll do
- Lead scientific research enabling the manufacture of innovative device architectures.
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments necessary to meet engineering specifications for the process.
- Participate in the development of intellectual property.
- Integrate individual steps necessary for the manufacture of complex microprocessors.
- Ramp to manufacturing volumes to demonstrate technology meets requirements.
- Transfer technology to counterparts in manufacturing via the Copy Exactly Methodology.
What you'll need
- Master's degree with 4+ years of semiconductor industry experience, or Ph.D. degree with 2+ years of semiconductor industry experience in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related Scientific STEM field of study.
- Semiconductor processing, semiconductor fabrication, or nanotechnology experience.
- Design of experiments.
- Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Computational Data Skills.
- 5+ years of professional and industry experience in Lithography photoresist evaluation/development.
- 5+ years of professional and industry experience in Layer process development.
- 5+ years of professional and industry experience in driving yield improvement and patterning defect reduction.
Nice to have
- Experience with integrated process development.
- Experience troubleshooting integrated process impacts on lithography patterning.
- Experience driving integrated process change methodologies to develop a robust process.
- Ability to utilize coding to facilitate data collection and analysis.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and optimize performance and reliability.
- Understanding of modern semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with factory automation or manufacturing control systems.
