About the role
This role involves conducting process audits and inspections of tools and products.
What you'll do
- Perform daily inspection of incoming material using written procedures and document results.
- Support MRB activities and process necessary documentation.
- Conduct detailed first article inspections and document outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection activity, including part history records and nonconformance reports.
What you'll need
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience using inspection tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, drop indicators, radius gauges, gage blocks, height gauges, and digital multimeters.
- Ability to read blueprints, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Good knowledge of measurement accuracy and measurement terminology.
- Strong computer skills to navigate multiple systems, obtain drawings, and enter data.
Nice to have
- Theory and operation of CMM Coordinate Measuring Machine.
- CMM programming experience.
