About the role
This role is responsible for managing the Fluoride Reduction Process and neutralizing mixed acids from manufacturing processes.
What you'll do
- Neutralize high levels of fluorides to meet discharge permit requirements.
- Neutralize mixed acids from manufacturing processes for discharge.
- Operate and maintain ultra-pure water generation equipment, including pretreatment, reverse osmosis, and UV sanitization systems.
- Recover and recycle process waste using multimedia and carbon filters and reverse osmosis systems.
- Perform calibrations and validations of sensors, including pH and conductivity meters.
What you'll need
- Knowledge or experience working with water systems, wastewater, manufacturing, or mechanical equipment.
- Knowledge or experience in plumbing, pump repair, plant operations, or maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Valid US driver’s license and ability to operate motor vehicles.
- High school degree or GED.
