About the role
The ASIC Program Manager is responsible for the program execution of the ASIC program in terms of schedule, performance, power, cost, and quality.
What you'll do
- Drive program execution across schedule, performance, power, cost, and quality targets to achieve predictable execution. - Identify project risks alongside engineering teams, build risk mitigation plans, and review status regularly with the executive team. - Manage dependencies, enforce change control, and lead project development milestone reviews across the ASIC development process. - Roll up and report key development milestones, metrics, risks, and mitigation plans to senior management. - Partner with design and technical leads, implementation teams, and program managers to deliver quality products on schedule.
What you'll need
- ASIC program management experience covering the complete ASIC development life cycle. - Experience with planning, scheduling, execution, risk management, and delivery of SOCs. - Experience collaborating with ASIC functional teams (Architecture, Design, Verification, DFT, Physical Design) and cross-functional teams (IT, EDA partners, HW boards, SW, Validation, Business). - Working understanding of SOC design flows. - Experience defining and generating program metrics and resource burn charts, including critical path definition and tracking. - Strong proficiency in planning and project management tools, including Microsoft Project (MPP), advanced Excel, and PowerPoint.
