About the role
This role involves the preventive and corrective maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment in the ATMC Fab Implant area. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
What you'll do
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Monitor and analyze tool data to make recommendations and improvements to maintenance procedures.
- Work with engineers on equipment improvement projects.
- Communicate machine status verbally in daily pass-down meetings.
- Provide clear written communication to engineers and technicians on other shifts.
What you'll need
- 2-5 years of experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance.
- Strong mechanical and electronic skills.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and project management skills.
- Knowledge of SPC in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office.
Nice to have
- Prior experience troubleshooting AMAT Viistas, Axcelis GSDs, or AMAT Quantums.
- Experience rebuilding/repairing ION Sources, Flood Guns, Aperture Electrodes, or Electromagnetic Energy Reflectors.
- AA, AS, or AAS degree in electronics or an industrial engineering related discipline.
