About the role
Texas Instruments is looking for an Equipment Technician to perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, improvements, upgrades, and installations. You will interface and communicate with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to resolve equipment issues.
What you'll do
- Perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, equipment improvements, upgrades, and equipment installation. - Improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive downs. - Monitor and analyze related data to improve and maintain tool performance and address tool-related issues. - Coordinate supplier service and repairs where needed. - Prepare technical reports and summary findings recommending solutions to technical problems.
What you'll need
- High School diploma or GED. - Must be 18 years of age or older. - Either 2 years of semiconductor experience as a Technician, or 8 years of non-semiconductor/military Technician experience. - Ability to work a 12-hour compressed work schedule. - Flexibility to work day or night shift that includes one weekend shift and holidays.
Nice to have
- Prior Technician experience in a wafer fab on AMAT or Axcelis Implanters. - Troubleshooting skills on electrical/mechanical systems.
