About the role
This role involves initial lab silicon bring-up and field deployment, measuring transmitter and receiver performance of high-speed mixed-signal DSP chips.
What you'll do
- Measure transmitter and receiver performance.
- Test digital and analog features of the product.
- Assemble test stations.
- Run and edit automation tools in Python.
- Collaborate with the Software team to integrate, test, and develop code to control, monitor, and test Silicon.
- Assist Validation Engineers with data collection and presentation of results.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a BS/MS degree in CS/EE or related technical field(s).
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Understanding of HW and SW fundamentals.
- Understanding of digital communication.
- Understanding of Digital Signal Processing.
- Available for an 8 - 12 month term.
- Full-time on-site availability in Kanata, Ontario.
Nice to have
- 2+ years of related coursework.
- Experience with automation.
