About the role
MACOM is seeking an IC Design Intern for a 12-week program focused on business-critical analog integrated circuit design projects. The position focuses on designing high-speed modulator drivers in SiGe technology emphasizing high output drive level and wide bandwidth.
What you'll do
- Design high speed modulator drivers in SiGe technology with emphasis on high output drive level and wide bandwidth. - Communicate with MACOM personnel to review technical tradeoffs and project progress. - Document circuit design and test results. - Complete an individual, well-defined project with established outcome goals. - Attend and present project successes and pitfalls at a poster session.
What you'll need
- Background or coursework in electrical engineering or analog integrated circuit design. - Familiarity with SiGe technology and high-speed driver circuit concepts. - Understanding of wide bandwidth and high output drive level circuit design. - Ability to document design methodologies and analyze test results.
