About the role
This role focuses on defining, designing, and driving to market sensing, electromechanical, and fluidic products.
What you'll do
- Support prototyping, testing, and analysis activities
- Scout new technologies for product development
- Collaborate with Electrical Engineering Hardware, Software, Biomedical, and Usability colleagues
- Work with external vendors for product development
What you'll need
- Currently in junior or senior year of a bachelor’s degree, or pursuing a master’s degree, in Mechanical Engineering
- Available to work full-time, on-site from January through June
- Demonstrated strong academic performance
- Hands-on lab or project experience in dynamics, fluid mechanics, and electromechanical systems
- Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD
- Hands-on prototyping experience
