About the role

This role involves shaping the long-term development of apprenticeship programs and contributing to securing future demand for skilled professionals and specialists within a precision manufacturing team that produces optical components, assemblies, and systems for ASML lithography systems.

What you'll do

  • Lead and develop the apprenticeship team, including disciplinary responsibility and performance discussions.
  • Further develop the strategic direction of apprenticeship programs with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure successful execution of the entire apprenticeship lifecycle and drive continuous improvements.
  • Manage and continuously improve the quality, efficiency, and performance of apprenticeship programs.
  • Initiate, prioritize, and drive technological and strategic topics and projects within the apprenticeship organization.
  • Plan and manage resources, investments, and capacities.
  • Foster trusted collaboration with management, business functions, HR, works councils, and apprentice representatives.

What you'll need

  • University degree in a relevant field or a comparable qualification.
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing environments and managing projects and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Several years of leadership experience with responsibility for teams and organizational/strategic objectives.
  • Several years of experience in apprenticeship, training, or learning environments, including program development and continuous improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant educational, legal, and employment-related frameworks.
  • Experience collaborating with leaders, employee representative bodies, and internal stakeholder groups.
  • Very good German and good English language skills.
