About the role

This role involves orchestrating projects to drive systemic part quality improvement across the supply chain, resolving complex quality issues, and achieving cost savings in manufacturing and install/warranty expenses.

What you'll do

  • Provide primary interface between field and factory for efficient quality resolution for supplier quality problems.
  • Take ownership and accountability for resolving quality issues within expected performance metrics and delivery.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement projects from inception to impactful results.
  • Perform data collection and statistical analysis and report results to inform program schedules and deliverables.
  • Coach and train supplier engineers in 8D process methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Deliver change management for programs that are sustainable and maintain long-term success.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 8+ years’ experience; or a PhD with 5+ years’ experience; or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of continuous improvement or technical program management experience.
  • Expert level in structured problem solving (8D) with abilities to utilize problem solving tools in highly technical quality problems.
  • Demonstrated understanding of program management methodologies, tools, and systems.
  • Strong supplier management and methodologies to drive systematic quality performance improvement.
  • Ability to perform in depth data analysis to visually represent, influence, and resolve complex business processes, systems, and quality problems.

Nice to have

  • Experience in Semiconductor fabrication, Semiconductor Equipment Operations, or related industries.
  • Expert knowledge in business process and system development, alignment, and implementation for a large organization.
  • Expert knowledge of Program Management methods and experience in Product Development & Release (PDR) procedures.
  • Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2.
  • Experience in Lean Six Sigma methodology or certification (Green Belt, Black Belt).
  • Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Expertise with project management software and tools including MS Project, QuickBase, Office Timeline, or equivalent.
  • Experience in Change Management methodologies.
