About the role

As a Forward-Deployed Engineer – AI Fabric (Data Center Switching / SONiC), you will focus on lab environments, runbook automation, and Professional Services work to deploy, validate, and stabilize customer AI fabric environments.

What you'll do

• Deploy, validate, and stabilize customer AI fabric environments on-site and remotely.
• Build lab environments to reproduce and resolve customer field issues.
• Write operational runbooks that power the internal AI monitoring agent.
• Deliver Professional Services engagements from initial scoping through customer handoff.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and sales teams while performing fabric-level triage alongside switching specialists.
• Support customers through hands-on deployment, hardware bring-up, and technical escalations to achieve stable production fabrics.

What you'll need

• Experience in forward-deployed engineering, technical support, or professional services for data center switching.
• Working knowledge of SONiC or Linux-based network operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with lab reproduction and troubleshooting of networking issues.
• Experience developing operational runbooks or automation workflows.

Skills: AI fabric issues, Ethernet troubleshooting, L2/L3 forwarding, QoS, AI agent
