About the role
This internship involves contributing to the design of BAW/SAW Acoustic Filter components used in wireless RF Applications within the Advanced Cellular business group.
What you'll do
- Design BAW/SAW Acoustic Filter components for wireless RF Applications.
- Integrate Filter Components into RFFE Modules.
- Run circuit and electromagnetic (EM) Simulations using commercial and internally developed tools.
- Understand and meet Product Specification requirements for RF Performance, costs, and schedule.
- Collaborate with the Characterization Team to evaluate and diagnose RF Components.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design flow, methods, and processes.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing an MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Analog/RF circuit design coursework and/or experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Nice to have
- Exposure to RF measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.
- Software Exposure: ADS, AWR, FEM, HFSS, Momentum, Cadence, Dynamic Link.
- Experience handling large volumes of data (measured data or simulation) and leveraging statistical analysis to evaluate information.
