About the role
This role involves equipment engineering for Films CVD / PVD tools within Front End Operations, focusing on manufacturing excellence and delivery of semiconductor devices.
What you'll do
- Identify and reduce recurrent machine faults
- Source and install new equipment
- Reduce defectivity and scrap
- Define tool maintenance procedures
- Train technicians and peers
- Implement Six-Sigma statistical process control methods
- Lead cross-functional and lean activity teams
What you'll need
- BS in an engineering discipline
- 5 years’ experience in equipment engineering in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment
- Experience in Applied Materials Producer or Applied Materials Centura tools/processes
- Ability to generate, analyze, and interpret equipment performance data
- Demonstrated presentation skills
- Competent in troubleshooting problems and capable of applying logic to isolate and repair them
Nice to have
- Experience in Applied Materials Endura, Ultima, and RTA platforms
- Previous experience in Lean Manufacturing methods
