The Field Support Supervisor at KLA Corporation leads a team of field service engineers, overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of semiconductor manufacturing equipment at customer sites.
What you'll do
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of field service engineers, including performance management, training, and scheduling.
- Oversee the installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of complex KLA equipment at customer facilities.
- Ensure timely resolution of technical issues to minimize downtime and maximize tool availability.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer escalations to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction.
- Monitor service performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure efficient utilization of field resources.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Engineering Technology, or related area) or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in field service engineering within the semiconductor equipment industry.
- Proven leadership experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Strong technical background in semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment such as metrology and inspection.
- Troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities for complex electro-mechanical systems.
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently to customer sites, including on short notice.
