About the role
This role serves as a Field Quality Engineer focused on resolving customer quality concerns and tracking product quality performance for data center accounts out of the Santa Clara, CA office.
What you'll do
- Clarify and resolve quality concerns with customers while collaborating with relevant internal divisions and manufacturing product quality teams. - Visit customer sites regularly to review open quality issues, discuss quality topics, and build customer relationships. - Monitor ST product quality performance at customer accounts using standard indicators including PPM, request response time, cycle time analysis, and KPIs. - Share customer scorecards and evaluations with internal divisions to drive necessary corrective actions. - Consolidate quality-related customer information and route it across Service Quality, manufacturing sites, logistics, and central functions. - Partner closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Technical Marketing teams supporting common accounts.
What you'll need
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Computer Engineering. - 10 years of relevant experience. - Basic knowledge of data centers framework and architecture. - Demonstrated experience tracking quality indicators such as PPM and KPIs, and driving corrective action plans.
