About the role
This role involves developing and deploying test solutions for semiconductor devices using System Level Testing (SLT) methodologies. The focus is on optimizing customer throughput on the Teradyne SLT platform.
What you'll do
- Develop, debug, and deploy test solutions on SLT for Digital, High-Speed Digital, System on Chip, Mixed Signal, and Analog semiconductor devices.
- Analyze problems and recommend solutions on the Teradyne SLT platform to optimize customer throughput.
- Work with test engineering customers to understand and improve test processes.
- Develop new techniques and designs for characterizing and testing semiconductor devices.
- Provide training, technical exchanges, and technical papers.
- Develop strong customer relations at a technical level.
What you'll need
- Bachelor or higher degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering or related fields.
- 5-8 years of experience in the semiconductor testing Industry with hands-on IC component testing project development.
- Experience in SLT, functional testing, and debug at the system level.
- Development experience on Teradyne or other semiconductor SLT platforms.
- Strong understanding of general software programming (e.g., .NET – C#, VB, C++, C, Java) and common algorithms.
- Proficient in Windows and Excel.
Nice to have
- ATE (Automated Test Equipment) Test / Product engineering experience in Digital, High-Speed Digital, High-Power Computing, System on Chip, Mixed Signal, or Analog IC chip testing.
- Development experience on Teradyne or other semiconductor ATE platforms (e.g., Teradyne UltraFlex / UltraFlexPlus / IG-XL, Eagle Test Systems / EV / EV-MST, Advantest V93K / SmarTest 7 / SmarTest 8).
- Knowledge of handler and prober interface experience.
- General understanding of SLT industry trends and competitive products.
