About the role
This Field Application Engineer role involves providing technical support and recommending solutions based on customer requirements.
What you'll do
- Understand customer applications and collaborate with Sales to recommend suitable solutions and products.
- Provide technical support for successful implementation of ADI products, including schematic and PCB layout reviews, and software and hardware debugging and testing.
- Build knowledge of company products and systems, and deliver technical training to customer engineers and public audiences.
- Understand customer system application requirements and market trends, communicating with Marketing and Business Units to recommend new products or solutions.
- Work with Sales, maintain relationships with customer R&D teams, and develop customer-specific product promotion strategies.
- Coordinate internal technical resources to respond to complex technical needs and improve customer satisfaction.
What you'll need
- Master’s degree or above in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Automation, Communications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Strong foundation in analog and digital circuits and circuit theory.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: C, C++, HDL, MATLAB, or Python.
- Familiarity with commonly used AI models.
- Willingness to travel across South and Southwest China to support customers.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
