About the role
As a Failure Analysis Engineering Intern in the Memory Technology organization, you will contribute to the investigation and characterization of flash memory devices to identify root causes of device behavior and failures.
What you'll do
- Investigate and characterize flash memory devices to identify and understand root causes of device behavior and failures.
- Build AI agents to enable more efficient failure analysis workflows for flash memory devices.
- Perform silicon evaluation, signal analysis, RTL design and verification, and transistor-level circuit design and verification.
- Develop automation tools and scripts to improve engineering workflows, data analysis, and productivity.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing a Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Understanding of semiconductor device physics.
- Experience using programming languages such as Python.
- Strong technical foundation in area of study and electronics or analog/digital circuitry.
- Willingness to engage in hands-on lab work and problem-solving.
Nice to have
- Coursework, research, or internship experience related to semiconductor devices.
- Experience with AI/ML tools and concepts.
