About the role
This role evaluates packaging components, materials, and processes to ensure quality and reliability in manufacturing.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain quality and reliability standards for packaging components and processes.
- Specify inspection mechanisms and conduct audits to verify compliance with specifications.
- Perform statistical analysis and stress testing to identify reliability fail modes and improve processes.
- Define metrology strategies and oversee the collection of quality data.
- Support incident management, customer inquiries, and excursion responses.
- Benchmark Intel Foundry packaging offerings against industry standards.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's in Engineering or related field with 6+ years of experience, Master's with 4+ years, or PhD with 2+ years of experience.
- Proficiency in statistical process control and reliability modeling techniques.
- Experience with quality audits, testing mechanisms, and packaging reliability standards.
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing environments and analytical tools for process improvement.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with assembly and wafer-level assembly process technology.
- Knowledge of industry standards for package quality and reliability.
- Experience in excursion management and customer response processes.
