About the role
This role involves performing all aspects of maintenance for systems providing critical utilities and uninterrupted services to maintain life safety and production at Wolfspeed.
What you'll do
- Respond to and troubleshoot various alarms including temperature, humidity, air/water pressures, and water levels.
- Operate, start, stop, and maintain equipment such as boilers, chillers, air handlers, exhaust fans, and generators.
- Monitor and maintain plantwide systems, identifying and resolving issues.
- Utilize computers and software including Microsoft Office suite, SCADA, and CMMS for routine tasks.
- Implement and sustain standard organizational practices and adhere to 5S practices.
What you'll need
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver's license.
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance related experience.
- Experience in lubrication, pneumatics, piping/plumbing repair, HVAC fundamentals, belt replacement, electrical schematics or troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in using computerized building management system / SCADA to maintain and troubleshoot facility equipment.
- Ability to work safely and use all personal protective equipment as required by OSHA and job requirements.
