About the role
As part of the product development team, you will design circuits for serial communications across the overall product flow from definition to qualification.
What you'll do
- Design high-frequency and high-speed analog/mixed-signal blocks in CMOS and BiCMOS technologies. - Execute prototype evaluation, debug, and hands-on product characterization in the lab. - Utilize EDA design tools along with electromagnetic and circuit simulation workflows. - Support products through the entire product development and qualification release cycle.
What you'll need
- MSEE with a minimum of 5 years of analog design experience focused on high-frequency/high-speed blocks in CMOS and/or BiCMOS technologies. - Track record of silicon success in blocks such as Gbps equalizers, CDRs, PLLs, laser drivers, transimpedance amplifiers, ADCs, or DACs. - Solid understanding of analog and high-frequency design fundamentals, circuit simulators, and EDA design tools. - Hands-on experience with lab equipment including real-time and sampling scopes, signal and pattern generators, spectrum analyzers, and VNAs. - Understanding of the overall product flow from definition through qualification.
Nice to have
- Experience with electromagnetic simulators (EMX/HFSS) and system-level simulators (ADS/Matlab). - System knowledge of circuits and functions related to the transmission and reception of a wired or optical link (equalizers, CDR/PLL, TIA).
