About the role
This role is responsible for developing competitive quotes and cost estimates for customer programs and new product opportunities. This role works cross-functionally to evaluate material requirements, manufacturing processes, and pricing models.
What you'll do
- Quote and prepare competitive bids for orders and new projects
- Prepare Quotes and Cost Estimates
- Apply pricing standards/models to costs
- Work with Engineering and Manufacturing to determine material requirements and manufacturing processes needed to complete quotes/orders
- Work with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Sales to determine methods and pricing for new products
- Maintain effective contact with customers
What you'll need
- 3-5+ years of Quoting or equivalent work experience
- Experience with multi-level bills of material in the Semi-conductor industry, preferably Gas Delivery Systems
- Experience reading/using/understanding Engineering prints/drawings/documents
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills including Vlookups, Pivot Tables, VBA
- Excellent analytical and mathematics skills
- Solid Knowledge of MRP, Oracle and Agile systems
