About the role
This role involves overseeing CAD flow development and ESD design methodology, ensuring efficient, accurate, and compliant design processes.
What you'll do
- Oversee CAD flow development and ESD design methodology.
- Oversee PERC & PathFinder flows and provide internal user support.
- Manage staff and projects, implementing internal and external tools including design automation, modeling, characterization, and IP releases.
- Establish and document ESD design guidelines and best practices for product development.
- Conduct design-level ESD analysis and simulations to predict and prevent ESD failures.
- Evaluate and implement emerging CAD and ESD technologies and software to optimize departmental productivity.
What you'll need
- MS in Engineering or similar, with at least twelve (12+) years of overall ESD & CAD experience and at least three (3+) years of management experience.
- Advanced proficiency in multiple CAD software platforms such as Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys Primetime, Ansys Seascape/Redhawk/Totem PathFinder, Verilog, and Calibre.
- Deep understanding of CAD software capabilities, design principles, engineering processes, and industry standards.
- Proficient in scripting languages like Perl and Python.
- Solid understanding of electrostatic discharge (ESD) fundamentals, physics, principles, electronics design, and safety procedures.
- Familiarity with ESD design analysis tools, simulation software, and relevant industry standards.
- Experience with file management systems, version control, and data management systems for CAD applications.
- Proficiency in ESD-related design standards and the company's internal processes.

- EDA specific languages like Skill and TCL.
