About the role
This role involves rebuilding components and conducting preventative maintenance (PM) on equipment to ensure quality following documented procedures.
What you'll do
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and rebuild equipment components following documented procedures and checklists.
- Monitor PM schedules to ensure rebuild components are staged for upcoming PMs.
- Perform documented PM activities on assigned equipment.
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment according to operating manuals/blueprints/schematics.
- Document all rebuild activities in the Equipment Management System and complete daily work reports.
- Engage in systematic troubleshooting to identify the root-cause of failures.
What you'll need
- High School degree or GED.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to properly use common hand tools.
- Ability to properly use personal protective equipment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting and problem solving.
- PC skills and familiarity with MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Nice to have
- 1 – 2 years in mechanical assembly or quality control.
- Strong mechanical and basic understanding of electronics.
- Knowledge of test and calibration equipment (i.e. DMMs).
