About the role
This role involves sustaining and operating 300mm Metrology semiconductor equipment in a manufacturing facility, with primary responsibility for resolving equipment and process issues.
What you'll do
- Perform preventive maintenance and corrective activities.
- React to error messages of factory systems and/or equipment.
- Review Statistical Process Control charts and other system indicators for process quality and react to Out of Control conditions.
- Identify and address potential areas for improvement and optimize tool availability, cycle time, utilization, and cost.
- Complete all required reporting and documentation.
What you'll need
- High School Degree (or equivalent).
- Familiarity with Metrology semiconductor process modules and equipment.
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, and vacuum technology.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to isolate and remedy complex issues on advanced equipment.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment per Semiconductor industry and onsemi protocol/requirements.
Nice to have
- 4+ years of experience in a semiconductor fab or technical support role.
