About the role
As an Equipment Engineering Technician specializing in Wet Etch, you will perform complex machinery problem solving of semiconductor equipment in a production environment.
What you'll do
- Perform complex machinery problem solving of semiconductor equipment in the Wet Etch area.
- Analyze recurring equipment failures and suggest innovative technical solutions.
- Lead and direct activities to develop/improve existing semiconductor equipment maintenance procedures.
- Collect equipment-specific performance data and implement solutions to equipment-specific failures.
- Provide technical equipment-specific training to lower-level technicians.
- Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and repair malfunctioning equipment to component level.
What you'll need
- 7+ years of technical experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
- AS degree (Military or Trade School with an emphasis in electronics/mechanical equivalent may substitute) or higher education in mechanical, electrical, or automotive fields.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of advanced electro-mechanical systems operations and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of electronic theory, vacuum and pneumatics theory, principles of electrical circuits, motor control systems, and test procedures.
- Hands-on experience with toolsets such as Akrion Rear Mount, GAMA, SCREEN DNS SU-2000, FC-821L, SEZ 223, 4200, FSI Mercury, LAM Sabre NeXT, FabGuard, and FPS.
