Equipment Engineering Technician - Dry Etch
About the role
This role involves performing preventative maintenance and repairs on semiconductor equipment to ensure optimal operational performance, specifically focusing on Dry Etch area systems.
What you'll do
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on semiconductor equipment.
- Collaborate with Equipment Engineers and management to resolve equipment and process-related issues.
- Participate in area shift pass-down activities and manage workload according to production priorities.
- Assist in analyzing and resolving recurring maintenance problems.
- Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and repair on malfunctioning equipment.
- Participate in developing, documenting, and improving semiconductor equipment maintenance procedures and systems.
What you'll need
- Associate of Science degree with an emphasis in Electronics or Mechanical, or military training and experience.
- 2+ years experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with one of these tools: LAM Rainbow Family, LAM 4520i, LAM 4520XL, LAM Rainbow Platform, LAM Alliance Family, LAM 9600 DFM, LAM 9400 SE, or LAM Alliance A6 PLATFORM.
- Essential knowledge of hardware for chemical delivery, processing, and handling in semiconductor equipment.
