About the role
This role is primarily responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on semiconductor equipment. The position involves close collaboration with Equipment Engineers and Area Managers to identify and resolve equipment issues that impact production.
What you'll do
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on semiconductor equipment.
- Collaborate with Equipment Engineers and Area Managers to identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Actively participate in area shift pass-downs.
- Prioritize tasks based on evolving production requirements.
- Interface with vendors, senior technicians, and engineers to help resolve equipment-specific issues.
- Ensure all required parts are on order and follow up to minimize equipment downtime.
What you'll need
- Associate of Science degree with an emphasis in Electronics, or military training and experience.
- 5+ years of technical experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with KLA Defect AIT XP+, ALTAIR 8250, KLA Overlay 5200, ARCHER, KLA Thickness UV1280, ASET F5X, Hitachi CD SEM 9200, Eagle View Macro Inspection, KLA SP1-TBI, SURFSCAN, KLA P22, AMAT SEMVision, KLA RS-75/RS-100, Nano Metrics FTIR, SDI SPV, NAK Littlefoot, or NSX Rudolph metrology tools.
- Ability to analyze and resolve recurring maintenance problems.
- Ability to perform technical servicing of semiconductor production and support equipment.
- Ability to develop, document, and improve existing semiconductor equipment maintenance procedures and systems, working from procedures, blueprints, sketches, drawings, and diagrams.
- Ability to follow maintenance and safety procedures.
