About the role
This role involves providing engineering support for equipment used in the manufacturing and development of advanced technology products at Qorvo, Richardson Operations. The focus is on improving equipment availability, reducing cycle time, costs, and yield loss through data-driven performance enhancements.
What you'll do
- Provide engineering support for manufacturing and development equipment.
- Improve equipment availability and reduce cycle time, costs, and yield loss.
- Upgrade and re-engineer equipment to enhance performance.
- Define and improve detailed preventive maintenance procedures and schedules.
- Coordinate machine installations for factory capacity expansions.
- Lead cross-functional continuous improvement teams to address problem areas.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- More than 3 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of pneumatics, robotics, electronics, and semiconductor processes.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Knowledge and application of SPC in the manufacturing environment.
Nice to have
- Ion Mill and/or Trim experience on Veeco or Scia equipment.
- E-Beam Evaporation experience on Temescal or Evatec equipment.
- Rapid Thermal Anneal Experience.
