About the role
This role involves supporting area technicians, sustaining and optimizing tools, and improving Semiconductor Equipment performance and reliability in the Photo/Metrology Area.
What you'll do
- Support area technicians, sustain and optimize tools, and improve Semiconductor Equipment performance and reliability in the Photo/Metrology Area.
- Lead all maintenance activities scheduled and unscheduled on assigned equipment.
- Eliminate reoccurring equipment failures by devising new approaches and developing solutions to complex problems.
- Optimize preventive maintenance procedures and provide clear instructions and documentation to technicians.
- Work with equipment vendors or second source companies to modify parts and improve Equipment performance.
- Work with the Process Engineering group on identifying opportunities to improve yield, and maintaining equipment process parameters within specifications.
What you'll need
- Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent work experience.
- 2 - 5 years of experience supporting and maintaining Semiconductor Equipment.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills to a component level on KLA F5/F5x, KLA SP1, AMAT Verity SEM, AMAT NanoSEM and/or ASML PAS5500 I-line/DUV systems.
- In depth knowledge of equipment functionality, subcomponents, control circuit, and its process parameters.
- Thorough knowledge of measurement instrumentations, electro-mechanical devices, vacuum systems, Robotics/Sensors.
- Ability to conduct data and statistical analysis to evaluate equipment performance.
Nice to have
- Experience on KLA SP1, Surfscan 6400/6420, RS-75/RS-100.
