About the role
This role involves supporting manufacturing operations and driving continual improvement in epitaxy processes.
What you'll do
- Support manufacturing operations in a high-interrupt and rapidly ramping tool install environment.
- Develop and implement improved methods of manufacturing, procedures, and processes for efficiencies, yields, machine operations, and quality.
- Implement project or improvement plans for areas of responsibility including efficiency improvements, cost reduction, quality improvement, and new product support.
- Perform lot and equipment dispositions to support continuous production flow and minimize cycle time in a high volume 300mm wafer Fab.
- Identify systematic problems in process or equipment related sources and communicate findings to engineering staff.
- Support manufacturing ramp with execution of equipment/process startup and process experiments (SWRs).
What you'll need
- 5 years relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Strong foundation in statistical process control, engineering change control, and process release strategies.
- Proficiency with Python, Claude, or other AI modules or tools.
- Experience with Epi Processes, with a strong preference for ASM Epi Systems.
- Strong understanding of FEOL integrations as it relates to Epi Processing.
