About the role
This full-time co-op position involves leading and managing two high-impact environmental projects related to emissions scrubber strategy and water discharge at the Burnet, TX facility.
What you'll do
- Map and evaluate air and water emission sources across the site using environmental monitoring data, analytical testing, and modern measurement technologies. - Quantify current emissions and partner with external laboratories and engineering consultants to assess future emission requirements. - Ensure manufacturers of emissions technology assist with installation, operation, troubleshooting, repair, and PM plans. - Interface with manufacturing engineering, operations, new product development, and facilities teams.
What you'll need
- Enrollment in an undergraduate/graduate program with a graduation date of December 2027 or later. - Bachelor of science, master's, or higher preferred in environmental science, chemical engineering, or chemistry. - Hands-on ability with chemical processing equipment and air and water testing instrumentation. - Experience with excel and pivot tables. - Good analytical skills in assessing relevance and accuracy of data. - Familiarity with working with third-party laboratories and consultants regarding factory HVAC systems and monitoring data analysis.

- Major in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Toxicology, Environmental Science, or Chemical Engineering.
