About the role
This role involves performing complex electro-mechanical technical functions and activities, including the design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronics and electro-mechanical systems. You will work on AMAT platforms and contribute to problem-solving and documentation.
What you'll do
- Perform complex electro-mechanical technical functions such as design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronics and electro-mechanical systems.
- Test and troubleshoot system-level and component-level problems in electrical and mechanical systems and sub-systems.
- Investigate, compile data, document, and recommend changes to enhance product performance.
- Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on AMAT platforms to engineering and manufacturing documentation and specifications.
- Provide training and subject matter guidance to lower-level Engineering Technicians.
- Develop and implement documented procedures, and write complex technical reports and test procedures.
What you'll need
- Experience with electro-mechanical technical functions.
- Ability to test and troubleshoot system-level and component-level problems.
- Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing.
- Ability to work with limited or no documentation.
- Experience in developing and implementing documented procedures.
- Understanding of manufacturing and/or engineering processes.
Nice to have
- Experience with NPI installations and field upgrades.
- Ability to act as a Quality Lead.
