About the role
This role involves performing routine to moderately complex electro-mechanical technical functions and activities, including design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronics and electro-mechanical systems. You will work with experimental design circuitry, prototype models, specialized test equipment, tools, and test fixtures.
What you'll do
- Perform routine to moderately complex electro-mechanical technical functions and activities.
- Test and troubleshoot system and component level problems in electrical and mechanical systems and sub-systems.
- Perform new system and NPI installations and field upgrades.
- Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or plans for testing and troubleshooting.
- Compile logbooks and test procedures documentation.
- Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic & vacuum, and process testing on AMAT platforms to Engineering and Manufacturing documentation and specifications.
What you'll need
- Experience with electro-mechanical technical functions and activities.
- Ability to test and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
- Capability to perform NPI installations and field upgrades.
- Skilled in working from schematics, diagrams, and written/verbal descriptions.
- Experience compiling logbooks and test procedures documentation.
- Ability to perform testing on AMAT platforms according to engineering specifications.
