About the role
This role performs routine electro-mechanical technical functions including testing, checkout, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronics and electro-mechanical systems. Work involves executing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on AMAT platforms according to engineering and manufacturing documentation.
What you'll do
- Perform routine testing, checkout, fabrication, assembly, and troubleshooting of electronics, electro-mechanical systems, prototype models, and test fixtures. - Test and troubleshoot system-level and component-level issues across electrical and mechanical systems and sub-systems, including potential NPI installations and field upgrades. - Read schematics, diagrams, written descriptions, layouts, and plans to conduct routine testing, rework, and troubleshooting. - Execute mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on AMAT platforms in accordance with engineering and manufacturing specifications. - Compile logbooks, generate Quality Notifications, and document test procedures. - Maintain a safe and clean work environment while adhering to health and safety procedures and operating instructions.
What you'll need
- Capability to read and work directly from schematics, diagrams, layouts, and written or verbal plans. - Experience applying operational processes or standard operating procedures to test, assemble, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems. - Ability to perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and vacuum testing on hardware platforms. - Documentation and writing skills to maintain logbooks, record test procedures, and create Quality Notifications.
