About the role

As a Process Engineering Technician, you will support Process Engineers in the execution of semiconductor process development activities within the R&D laboratory. You will play a critical role in ensuring experiments are executed safely, efficiently, and consistently by operating process equipment, handling wafers and samples, performing routine measurements, maintaining accurate records, and supporting laboratory operations.

What you'll do

  • Execute routine wafer processing activities according to defined experimental plans and operating procedures.
  • Operate semiconductor process equipment under the guidance of Process Engineers.
  • Prepare, load, unload, and track wafers and test samples throughout experiment flows.
  • Perform routine wafer inspections and measurements using laboratory metrology tools.
  • Collect, organize, and record process and metrology data accurately and promptly.
  • Perform routine equipment preparation, qualification checks, and preventive maintenance activities.

What you'll need

  • Ability to support Process Engineers in the execution of semiconductor process development activities.
  • Experience operating process equipment and handling wafers.
  • Capability to perform routine measurements and maintain accurate records.
  • Skill in maintaining a well-organized lab environment and following established procedures for handling FOUPs/FOSBs and wafers.
  • Competency in coordinating wafer and sample movement between laboratories, engineering teams, and external partners.
  • Aptitude for managing incoming and outgoing samples, consumables, and lab materials.
  • Ability to track wafers, chemicals, lab supplies, and consumables.
