About the role
The Engineering Technician works independently and with engineering teams to enable development activities in a 24x7 automated test equipment laboratory. Work centers on recipe generation, setup validation, data collection, process enhancement, and troubleshooting across wafer test and final test operations.
What you'll do
- Operate manufacturing equipment including automated test equipment, wafer handlers, final test handlers, oscilloscopes, and laboratory equipment.
- Design and execute engineering experiments in Final Test and Wafer Test (Probe).
- Enable product qualification activities and develop processes for New Product Introductions (NPI).
- Create recipes and setups for new products and hardware, performing setup validation and troubleshooting.
- Draft experimental reports, maintain procedural documentation, and provide process monitoring to improve equipment and materials.
- Assist engineering teams with technical support, data systems, and network activities.
What you'll need
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 5+ years of experience in a technical, engineering, laboratory, manufacturing, or semiconductor environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to write technical reports and communicate test results.
Nice to have
- A 2-year technical degree or certificate from an accredited institution in a technical science field.
- Experience with network protocols, software licensing, and scripting.
