About the role
This role involves providing technical expertise for software systems and supporting customers with product demonstrations, design, development, and maintenance of Qualcomm products.
What you'll do
- Provide technical expertise of software systems through technical presentations for business development, customer training, and product demonstrations.
- Collaborate with teams and customers to identify problems, debug issues in customer design software systems, and recommend solutions.
- Drive system architecture and feature-specific customizations tailored for customer requirements from proof of concept to commercial launches.
- Assess potential application of company products, prepare product specifications, and disseminate technical information on specific software areas.
- Troubleshoot issues regarding software tools and products.
- Write detailed product technical documentation, application notes, and FAQs.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering or Software Development experience; OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Applications Engineering or Software Development experience; OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python.
- 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques.
Nice to have
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3 years of Software Applications Engineering or Software Development experience.
- 1 year of work experience in a role requiring interaction with leadership.
- Experience in a customer-facing role.
